Winterproof, Self-sufficient Hymer T 654 SL Gold Edition

Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, we have to part with our beloved motorhome "OTTO" and have switched to a caravan. It has never let us down during more than 80 trips over 6 years—it's a Hymer, with a quality you can't find anymore today. We had the interior professionally converted to provide, for example, more legroom in the bathroom or the ability to watch TV from both the cab and the bed.

Additionally, the vehicle is fully winterized, meaning you can set off immediately at any time of year. The wall thickness of the superstructure is 9 cm (see photo), and both the grey water and fresh water tanks are insulated.

There is a 330 W photovoltaic system installed on the roof and a 110 Ah lithium battery in the habitation area. Both were fitted 6 years ago and are in excellent condition. The battery has only been through 44 charging cycles; theoretically, 500 to 1500 cycles are possible. The charge controller status and battery level can be checked via smartphone.

And since the fridge also runs on gas and an additional toilet cassette is included, you can stay anywhere, anytime, completely self-sufficient. There's also an inflatable awning from Obelink, which can be easily attached to the existing canopy.

The motorhome features a large refrigerator, freezer compartment, and oven. For cooking, there's a three-burner gas stove with an extractor hood directly above.

The main bed measures 140x200 cm, and the seating area can easily be converted into an additional bed (120x200 cm), making it suitable for up to four people. A radio with Bluetooth, motorhome navigation, and a reversing camera are also installed. The vehicle has been serviced annually in spring!

Due to its age, there are two minor cosmetic defects:
Small chips in the topcoat on the bonnet (paint repair shop estimate €500)—there's no rust, it's just a visual issue. Two blackout roller blinds are defective; we use blackout curtains instead, which in fact provide better darkening than the original blinds. The fly screens still work perfectly.
