Technical Description:

Chassis constructed as double-T longitudinal beams welded with cross members. Fifth wheel coupling mounted on turntable, construction height approx. 185 mm. Underrun protection according to EC regulations.

Drawbar for steered axle with bolted 50 mm or 57.5 mm towing eye. Length when coupled low: 4,150 mm, extendable by 4 x 100 mm; length when coupled high: 3,500 mm, extendable by 3 x 100 mm (measured from center of towing eye to center of fifth wheel plate).

Support at the front with crank and gearbox.

Actively steered dolly axle, low maintenance with disc brakes (430 mm) ET 120, air suspension with lifting and lowering function, single valve, hub centering.

Tyres: 4 units, size 445/45 R 19.5, manufacturer at Krone’s discretion.

Wheel covers according to EC directives 78/549/EWG and 91/226/EWG with corresponding spray protection, black plastic quarter shells with top tarp cover, rear with mud flaps.

Braking system according to ECE-R13, including vehicle stability function, spring-loaded parking brake, EBS system, 2S/2M, 2 sensors on one axle, diagnostics via ISO7638 plug connection (EBS supply cable), palm coupling connectors, trailer brake connections mounted on bar within frame.

Lighting and signalling device according to ECE-R48, two 7-pin sockets DIN1185/3731, number plate, outline, and side marker lights in LED design, multifunctional tail lights incl. 1 fog lamp and 1 reversing light, trailer electrical connections mounted on bar within frame, connecting cables for trailer electrical and air connections included.

Steel parts shot-blasted, KTL primed and powder-coated, series paintwork (single color), underrun guard and lighting supports powder-coated in white, axles incl. wheel hubs in RAL 9005, add-on parts zinc-plated in black, rims in natural silver, contour marking according to ECE-R48.
